Where do I find the number that I should enter in the Account number field?
The account number that you need to enter is the payee's account number. The account number is typically located on a copy of a bill. If you can't locate it on your bill, just call the payee and they'll provide you with this number. You only have to enter this account number when you're adding a payee or setting up an e-bill.
What is a nickname, and why do I need it?
Nickname is prefilled with the name of the payee that you entered on the Add a Payee page. You can change it when you're adding the payee, or at anytime later on just by editing this payee's information. The best way to think about a nickname is as an informal name for the payee that will help you remember who you want to pay. For example, some credit card companies have very formal or cryptic names-names which may seem foreign to you when it comes to making a payment-so the Nickname field allows you to enter a name you can relate to; for example, Lisa's credit card or ABC Bank Mortgage. Adding a specific, personal nickname now will ensure you're making payments to the right payee later.
Why do you sometimes send a check instead of an electronic payment to my payees?
Some payees do not currently accept electronic payments. As a result, at times we need to send paper checks. By sending a paper check, you can still make your payment, and avoid the expense of postage or a trip to the post office. To ensure timely delivery, we recommend that you schedule your payment at least 5 business days in advance of your bill due date.

What is an electronic transfer?
An electronic transfer is a payment that is credited to the bank account of your choice. The bank account may belong to a friend or a relative, or it may even belong to you at a different financial institution. As long as you know the account number and routing number of the bank account, you can send money with an electronic transfer. Electronic transfer payments usually post in 1-2 business days depending on when you make the payment.
Why can't I see or edit this payee's address?
Since we already have a relationship with this payee, we'll maintain this address for you. If there are any changes, the payee will contact us directly.
